As of March 31, Huanghua Port has recorded inbound coal volume totaling 19.37 million tonnes and outbound coal volume of 19.31 million tonnes, marking year-on-year increases of 3.4% and 3.0%, respectively. Notably, the inbound coal volume has set a historical record for the same period, showcasing the resilience of the port’s production and organization, and highlighting the effectiveness of the “integrated collaboration + regional coordination” mechanism, thereby providing solid support for the stable energy supply chain.

As the largest coal shipment port in China, Huanghua Port leverages China Shenhua’s full industrial chain advantage of “coal, electricity, railway, port, and shipping”, deepening the “integrated production, transportation, and sales collaboration mechanism”. The Company has achieved real-time communication of production plans, vehicle and vessel dynamics, and equipment maintenance with integrated units including the Central Dispatch Office, E-commerce Company, Shuohuang Railway, and Shipping Company. By establishing production and organization principles of “precise coal preparation, rapid unloading and loading, and facilitating unloading by loading”, the Company has precisely aligned the pace in coal source transport—port reception & unloading—vessel turnover. In March, the Company fulfilled 63.6% of CHN Energy’s outbound coal transport volume, peaking at 65% in the middle to late part of the month, a 5-percentage-point increase compared to the same period last year, with shipments exceeding 700,000 tonnes per day for 11 consecutive days. The Company also strengthened regional coordination with local government departments including the Cangzhou Maritime Bureau and the Cangzhou Meteorological Bureau, continuously improving its regular supply assurance mechanism and preventative measures against severe weather conditions. The Company organized 29 round trips and 157 ships for 70,000-tonne vessels, averaging an increase of 3 vessels each day, effectively accelerating vessel turnover. By utilizing the intelligent weather warning platform, the Company implemented effective measures of “precise pre-control before winds, safety management during high winds, and efficient stock reduction after winds”, successfully countering the impacts of five instances of severe winds totaling 44-hour closure of navigation throughout the month, ensuring that site stock levels remained stable and controllable while maintaining a resilient safety margin for integrated operations, thereby safeguarding the safe and efficient operation of the energy transportation network.
